Horizons Social Services of Adams County, Inc. seeks to meet the personal and community needs of the disadvantaged and destitute in the city of Quincy. We also attempt to serve as a communication facilitator between area churches and social service providers.

Join us for Empty Bowls 2014
When: Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Where: Quincy Senior High School, 3322 Maine Street, Quincy, Illinois Come enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread, dessert and drink in support of Horizons Social Services for $10 per person or $50 family maximum. With your ticket purchase, you will take home an “empty” hand painted bowl to remind you of the hunger right here in our community. There will be raffle baskets and a silent auction of local artist creations. All the proceeds from the Empty Bowls Fundraiser will go to support Horizons Social Services, feeding the hungry right here in our community. Tickets are available at both Quincy Hy-Vee location & Horizons inside St. John’s Parish at 701 Hampshire and at the door the day of the event. Questions call 217-224-5530
